Say Hello to EDGAR

A new link has been added to our online database pages. EDGAR, the Electronic Data-Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval system, is one of the latest. EDGAR provides SEC filings for almost 10,000 publicly traded companies, financial data, management policy, products produced, corporate history, and current and future prospects of publicly traded companies.

The primary purpose of EDGAR is to "increase the efficiency and fairness of the securities market for the benefit of investors, corporations, and the economy by accelerating the receipt, acceptance, dissemination, and analysis of time-sensitive corporate information filed with the agency."

EDGAR is produced by the U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
